Al-Mansur understood his method and did not hold it against him. Ibn al-Muhajir narrated that the Commander of the Believers, al-Mansur, arrived in Mecca during Hajj. He would leave the Dar al-Nadwa to circumambulate the Kaaba late at night, praying and remaining unknown to others.
