What does "for life" actually mean?
Two things, both permanent. Joyful+ with no expiry and no renewal — unlimited listening to every audiobook, the Masterclasses, offline downloads, the Watch app and widgets, on iPhone and Android. And every Book Package: the Arabic original beside our unabridged English translation, as PDFs you download and keep. One payment, nothing to cancel, no card kept on file.
Why only 100 — and why are 11 already held?
A lifetime seat is future income sold once, so the number has to be small enough that it stays a good trade. Eleven of the hundred are held for the people who build this library, given out as the team grows — they are not sold and they are not counted as taken, which is why the page says 89 available rather than pretending they are gone. When the eighty-ninth public seat goes, it closes and does not reopen.
What if Joyful Muslims stops existing?
Then the app stops, and so does your membership — we would be lying to promise otherwise. What we can promise is that this money is exactly what makes that less likely: it funds the next books and the running costs, and it is the reason the library can stay free at the floor for people who will never pay anything.
Do I really get all the books, including the ones not written yet?
Yes. There are 78 Book Packages on the shelf today, and your seat covers every one published after — it is a permanent mark on your account, not a batch of credits that runs out. Most packages are the Arabic original with our unabridged English translation; the newer ones also carry the Retelling and up to five languages, in light and dark editions.
How do I get the month I give away?
A code arrives with your welcome email, and a new one every year on the anniversary of your seat. It opens a full month of Joyful+ for whoever you send it to — no card, and no trial that quietly becomes a bill.
I already pay monthly or yearly. What happens to that?
Your Founding seat takes over and your membership never shortens. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there yourself once your seat is confirmed — we cannot cancel an Apple or Google subscription on your behalf, and we would rather tell you that than let it quietly keep charging you.
Is this zakāt, or tax-deductible?
No. Joyful Muslims is a Danish sole proprietorship (CVR 46387996), not a registered charity. This is a purchase of a lifetime membership — that is all, and we would rather say so plainly than dress it up.
