Subscription Terms

1. Plans and pricing

The following subscription plans are available. Prices shown are in US dollars; equivalents are charged in your local currency at the prevailing App Store rate.

BookKit (one-time purchase)

$4.99 one-time. Downloadable PDFs of the original Arabic text and our English translation. Available à la carte to everyone, regardless of subscription. BookKit is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.

2. Billing and payment

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected).
• Prices may change. Any price change is communicated in advance and requires your explicit consent before it takes effect, as required by Apple.
• Taxes and VAT are calculated and collected by Apple according to the billing country on file for your Apple ID.

3. Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period, at the current subscription rate.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops the next auto-renewal — you keep access to the paid features until the end of the already-paid period.

2. Tap your name at the top of the screen
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select Joyful Muslims
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You can also manage subscriptions at App Store Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

5. Free trials and introductory offers

Where a free trial or introductory price is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the regular price at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Introductory offers are available once per Apple ID.

6. Refunds

All subscription refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. Apple's decision is final; we cannot issue refunds on Apple's behalf. For billing disputes involving consumer protection rights in the EU, contact us at [email protected] and we will assist where we are able.

7. EU right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. By starting to use the subscription's digital content immediately upon purchase, you consent to the supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access has begun, as permitted by the Directive. If you have not yet begun listening, you may withdraw by writing to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.

8. What subscriptions include

Subscription benefits are as described in-app and on our Plans page at the time of purchase. We may add content and features to your plan at no additional cost. We do not retroactively remove titles you already have access to on your current plan without replacement, except where required by a rights-holder request.

9. Accounts and eligibility

Subscriptions require a valid Apple ID and an active Joyful Muslims account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to subscribe. Subscriptions are for personal, non-commercial use only.

11. Governing law

These subscription terms are governed by Danish law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
