"Seeking help is a part of worship, but worship is not merely seeking help. Worship is a request for اللّٰه, while seeking help is a request from Him. Worship can only be performed sincerely, while seeking help can come from both the sincere and insincere."
-
"In the verse, "You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help" from سُورَة الفَاتِحَة, there is a clear refutation of those who seek help from others besides اللّٰه. This verse emphasizes that seeking help should be directed only to اللّٰه, as He alone has control over all actions."
-
"They dedicate their love, fear, hope, humility, reliance, seeking help, refuge, and supplication solely to اللّٰه, following His command and seeking His pleasure. When they ask, they ask اللّٰه; when they seek help, they seek help from اللّٰه; and when they act, they act for اللّٰه."
-
"causing him to cry out to his beloved and seek help until victory comes. His cry and plea for help is the victory itself, as it preserves his ecstasy and does not return him to a patience that would make him"
-
""with a mighty help." And after it came the seal: "When the help of God comes, and the victory, and you see men entering the religion of God in throngs." Then the messenger of his Lord came to him, giving him the choice between remaining in this world and meeting Him — and he chose the meeting with his Lord, out of longing for Him."
-
"The meanings of all His names revolve around these. And His words, "You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help," comprise knowledge of the path that leads to Him — that it is nothing other than worshipping Him alone by what He loves and is pleased with, and seeking His help in worshipping Him. And His words, "Guide us along the straight path," comprise the declaration that the servant has no way to his felicity except by remaining upright upon the straight path,"

"A chapter: when the Messenger of God emerged from the siege of the enemy, he entered the siege of victory. So the hands of his raiding parties played freely with victory in every quarter, and his fame took wing to the horizons, until mankind stood toward him in three divisions: a believer in him, one at peace with him, and one in dread of him."
-
"As Allah, exalted is He, said: "If you help Allah, He will help you and make your foothold firm." (Muhammad 47:7) So if you support Allah, exalted is He, by opposing your own self and desires, by refraining from objecting to Him and being discontent with His actions upon you, and you become an adversary to your own self for Allah, wielding a sword against it, every time it stirs with its disbelief, idolatry, and foolishness, you sever its head."
-
""Be mindful of God, and He will protect you. Be mindful of God, and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask of God. If you seek help, seek help from God. The pen has dried with what will be. If the servants strive to benefit you with something God has not decreed for you, they will not be able to do so."
-
"Hardship and affliction touched them, and they were shaken until the Messenger and those who believed with him said: When will God's help come? Truly God's help is near. That is because the soul is not purified nor set right until it is refined by affliction, like gold whose pure is not parted from its dross until it is put to the fire in the furnace of the assay."
-
"He has only put your certainty and your patience to the test. The greatest of helpers for you, after the help of God, is this — by God's help — freedom from greed and from dread. Whenever you are free of these two, siding with God and His Messenger becomes easy for you, and you are always on"
-
"Then God sealed them with Muhammad, and He made them the middle nation. He gave them victory through those who followed them, and gave them victory over all others, until God took His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Then Satan rode among them the mount he had brought down upon him, and took them by their hands, and sought their destruction."
-
"When the two hosts came within sight of one another and the two parties met in combat, Abu Ubayda exhorted the Muslims, saying: Servants of God, help God and He will help you and make your feet firm. Company of Muslims, be steadfast, for steadfastness is deliverance from unbelief, a source of the Lord's good pleasure, and a washing away of disgrace."
-
"The men went out under their banners, and Abu Ubayda marched with the Muslims, saying: Servants of God, help God and He will help you and make your feet firm. O company of Muslims, be patient, for patience is a deliverance from unbelief, a thing pleasing to the Lord, and a washing away of disgrace."

"The wise do not fall into delusion with friendships formed during their days of power, for everyone is a friend then. Strive to seek help in your affairs from those who desire for themselves what you desire for yourself, and do not seek help from those whose share from you is like their share from others."
-
"If the relative were not poor, they would still help due to kinship, and if not for kinship, they would help due to poverty. This is similar to when a wealthy relative visits, prompting a desire to assist, or when a foreign poor person arrives, evoking the same response."
