What is the meaning of Bismillāh?
Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm — in the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful. It opens every surah but one. The classical scholars said it is the summary of the Qurʾan in a single sentence.
