Allāhumma Rabba as-samāwāt — entering a town
Upon reaching an unfamiliar place
Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَظْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَقْلَلْنَ، أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ وَخَيْرَ أَهْلِهَا
Transliteration
Allāhumma Rabba as-samāwāti as-sabʿi wa mā aẓlalna, wa Rabba al-araḍīna as-sabʿi wa mā aqlalna, asʾaluka khayra hādhihi al-qaryati wa khayra ahlihā.
English
"O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they cover, Lord of the seven earths and what they carry — I ask You for the good of this town and the good of its people."
