Stepping outside
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
Bismillāhi, tawakkaltu ʿalā Allāhi, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh.
"In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor might except with Allah."

Where the scholars teach this duʿāʾ.

"For being present with اللّٰه necessitates intimacy and love, and if these are not accompanied by reverence, they lead to stepping outside the bounds of servitude and arrogance. Any love not accompanied by reverence for the beloved is a cause for distance from Him and falling from His grace. His words encompass five key elements: a journey towards اللّٰه, the continuity of this journey, the presence of the heart with Him, reverence for Him, and being overwhelmed by His greatness to the exclusion of others."
