Al-Da'wah
Definition
Al-da'wah — the call or invitation to Allah — was Nuh's primary mission for 950 years, and the Quran devotes an entire surah (Surah Nuh) to his methods and their results. He called openly and secretly, by day and by night, with gentle persuasion and with solemn warning, alone and in gatherings. Despite this comprehensive approach — trying every channel of communication available to a prophet — the response was almost total rejection. Nuh's da'wah is the Quran's most extensive case study in prophetic persistence, demonstrating that the measure of a prophet's success is not the number of followers gained but the sincerity and completeness of the message delivered.
