Revelation. The communication from Allah to His prophets, in this case to Muhammad ﷺ. Began at the cave of Hira' with the verses 'Read in the name of your Lord' (Qur'an 96:1-5).

So resolve upon your plan and your partners, and let not your plan be obscure to you, then carry it out against me and give me no respite."
