How the scholars invoke Al-Muḥyī.
-
"'Al-Wajid' is included among His names, but not 'Al-Mujid', as 'Al-Mujid' is an attribute of action, meaning the giver of existence, like 'Al-Muhyi', the giver of life. This action is not mentioned in the actions of God in the القُرْآن or the السُّنَّة, so the phrase 'God created such and such' is used instead. Since the action is not used, the active name derived from it is not among His beautiful names."
