Hārūn ﷺ

"be upon him, passed by Moses, who was praying in his grave by the red dune. This narration is also found in Muslim's collection. As-Sudi narrates a story involving Moses and Aaron. Allah revealed to Moses that Aaron would die and instructed him to take Aaron to a specific mountain. There, they found a unique tree, a house, and a bed with a pleasant fragrance. Aaron expressed a desire to rest on the bed, and Moses reassured him. As they both slept, Aaron passed away. The house and tree disappeared, and the bed ascended to the heavens with Aaron."

"When Aaron passed away, the house was lifted, the tree disappeared, and the bed ascended into the sky with him. When Moses returned to his people without Aaron, they accused Moses of killing Aaron out of jealousy for the love of the Israelites for Aaron. Aaron was calmer and more lenient towards them than Moses, who sometimes displayed harshness towards them."

"In one version, why didn't you inform them that they used to name their people after their righteous ones and prophets? Qatada and others mentioned that they frequently named people Aaron, and it was said that at the funeral of one of them, 40,000 people named Aaron attended. Allah knows best. The point is, they said, O sister of Aaron, and the hadith indicates that she indeed had a brother related by blood named Aaron, who was well known for his faith, righteousness, and goodness."

"Harun said, “Let him keep them.” The old man entered, greeted, and sat down. Harun asked, “Old man, what drove you to do what you did? Harun hesitated to say, "You broke my oud. When the old man pressed him for an answer, Harun was reluctant until he finally mentioned, "I heard your father and ancestors recite the verse on the pulpit: Indeed, Allah commands justice, good conduct, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, wrongdoing, and transgression.""

"Among those who accompanied him was Buhlul, known as the madman, who was often teased by children. As Harun's procession approached, the children stopped their teasing. Buhlul called out to Harun, "O Commander of the Faithful! Harun responded, "Here I am, Buhlul. Buhlul then recounted a narration about the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, returning from Arafat with humility, advising Harun that humility in his journey was better than arrogance."

"Harun praised Buhlul's words and offered him a reward, but Buhlul declined, saying he had no need for it. Harun offered to pay any debts Buhlul might have, but Buhlul replied that repaying debt with debt is not permissible. Harun then offered to provide for his sustenance, to which Buhlul responded that both he and Harun are dependents of Allah, and it is impossible for Allah to remember one and forget the other."

"Moses assured him, Do not fear. I will take care of the owner of this house for you. Sleep. Aaron then said, O Moses, sleep with me, lest the owner of this house comes and is angry with both you and me. When they slept, death took Aaron. When Aaron felt it, he said, O Moses, you have deceived me. When Aaron passed away, the house was lifted, the tree disappeared, and the bed ascended into the sky with him."
