Nūḥ ﷺ

"first approach Adam, peace be upon him, acknowledging his unique creation and status. However, Adam will express his own limitations and direct them to Noah, saying, My Lord is wrathful today as he has never been before and will never be again. He forbade me the tree and I disobeyed him. Myself, myself, go to someone else, go to Noah. They will approach Noah and say, O Noah, you are the first messenger sent to the people of the earth and Allah named you a grateful servant. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see what we are experiencing? Noah will respond, My Lord is wrathful today as he has never been before"

Surah Kaaf reiterates that the people of Noah, along with others like the companions of the well, Thamud, Ad, Pharaoh, and the people of Tubba, all denied the messengers, leading to the fulfillment of Allah's threat. The story of Noah is also mentioned in Surah Al-Kamar and in Surah Al-Hadid Allah highlights that he sent Noah and Abraham, placing prophethood and scripture among their descendants. However, many of them were defiantly disobedient."

With corruption spreading on earth due to idol worship, Allah sent his servant and messenger Noah, peace be upon him, to call people back to the worship of Allah alone. In the Hadith of intercession, people will approach Adam and Noah, seeking intercession with Allah, but both will express their inability to do so due to their own shortcomings.
