al-Fawāʾid
Ibn al-Qayyim kept a notebook. Not a treatise built of chapters and arguments, but the benefits he gathered as he read, prayed, and watched his own heart — a paragraph on envy, a page on the excuses the soul makes, a line that stops you where you stand. al-Fawāʾid is that notebook, and Volume One gathers forty-seven of its sittings: each short enough to take in one sitting, each heavy enough to stay with you. Offered in two editions — the English Translation, and the Arabic original woven through with the recitation of Shaykh Maḥmūd Khalīl al-Ḥuṣarī.

The author is deceased well before 1924, placing the original work firmly in the public domain worldwide. The translation that follows is an original editorial work of Joyful Muslims.
