Another hadith states, "The best charity is when one strives with the little they have, and gives to a poor person in secret. This was narrated by Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and Al-Hakim from Abu Dharr, and by Abu Dawud from Abu Hurairah, who asked which charity is the best.
