Reflecting on past misdeeds reveals the peril they present, as one stands on the brink of destruction if held accountable. اللّٰه has warned in His Book about those who forget their deeds, saying, "And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the signs of his Lord, but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have sent forth?" from سُورَة الكَهْف.
