Lā ilāha illā anta — in distress

The duʿāʾ of Yūnus in the belly of the fish

Arabic

لاَ إِلَٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Transliteration

Lā ilāha illā anta, subḥānaka, innī kuntu min aẓ-ẓālimīn.

English

"There is no god but You — glory be to You! I have indeed been among the wrongdoers."

Context

No Muslim ever supplicates with this duʿāʾ in any matter and has his supplication go unanswered. — Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3505
