How the scholars invoke Al-Jabbār.
-
"And with Him is the Mother of the Book; He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned. The reports of the attributes pass as they have come. And his son Abd al-Jabbar asked him: What part of your body pains you? He said: All my limbs pain me except my heart, which feels no pain and is sound with God Almighty."
— Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, Futūḥ al-Ghayb — Revelations of the Unseen
