Al-Qayyūm
الْقَيُّومُThe Self-Subsisting
Al-Qayyūm (الْقَيُّومُ) is the 63rd of the 99 Names of Allah. It means "The Self-Subsisting". In the Qurʾān it occurs in Al-Baqarah 2:255.

"The phrase "or it is established by a form" refers to the physical form and its attributes and actions according to them. What establishes this form is what is upheld by the one to whom the name "Al-Qayyum" (The Sustainer) is attached. Al-Qayyum is the one who is self-sustaining, upon whom the existence of everything depends; that is, He is the one who sustains others, and nothing can exist without His sustaining it."
