Āyat al-Kursī — the Throne Verse
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ
"Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth…"
Context
The greatest verse in the Qurʾan by the authentic hadith. A condensed treatise on tawḥīd — divine unity, life, sovereignty, knowledge, and the throne.
Virtue
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever recites Āyat al-Kursī after every obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death.'
