Allah is sufficient for us — hasbunallāh
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
"Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best disposer of affairs."
Context
Said by Ibrāhīm when thrown into the fire. Said by the Prophet ﷺ and the believers after Uhud when threatened with a second attack. The verse Allah preserved for anyone in extremity.
Virtue
Ibn ʿAbbās said: 'Sufficient for us is Allah — this was said by Ibrāhīm when he was thrown into the fire, and said by Muḥammad ﷺ when they said the people have gathered against you.'

In صَحِيح البُخَارِيّ, it is narrated from اِبْن عَبَّاس, may اللّٰه be pleased with them, who said: "Sufficient for us is اللّٰه, and He is the best disposer of affairs." This was said by إِبْرَاهِيم, peace be upon him, when he was thrown into the fire. It was also said by مُحَمَّد, peace be upon him, when it was said to him: "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them."
