Duʿāʾ before sleep
How the Sunnah closes the day — the words said upon lying down, and the protective recitation of the three Quls before sleep.
Bismika Allāhumma — before sleep Laying down to sleep
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
"In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live."

The Three Quls Morning, evening, before sleep
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‧ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ‧ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
"Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ, al-Falaq, and an-Nās — the last three surahs of the Qurʾan. Recited three times each, morning and evening, as the Prophet ﷺ taught."
