Blessed is He in whose hand is sovereignty
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُم
"Blessed is He in whose hand is sovereignty, and He is over all things competent — He who created death and life to test you…"
Context
The opening of the sūrah the Prophet ﷺ said intercedes for its reciter until he is forgiven. Its night-recitation is a classical sunnah.
